On May 17th, Pastor Darryl Scarbrough of Bayside of South Sacramento, his lovely wife Shanicka and their team graciously opened their church to us. Rice Broocks, author of several popular Christian books including, “God’s Not Dead: Evidence for God in an Age of Uncertainty” shared the message during the meeting. Broocks holds a master’s degree from Reformed Theological Seminary, Jackson, Mississippi, as well as a doctorate in missiology from Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, California. He is also the senior minister of Bethel World Outreach Church in Nashville, Tennessee and cofounder of the Every Nation family of churches, which currently has churches and campus ministries in more than seventy nations. He has a heart for pastors, their local churches, and a passion for equipping people for evangelism. The luncheon was a wonderful, refreshing time of prayer, connection, and standing together in unity for the Sacramento region.
